Has there been a time when you wanted to dig a little deeper into what was preached? Perhaps you didn’t quite understand or agree, or you wanted to know how others in the church circumnavigate a specific life issue. If you have unanswered questions, we encourage you to come to a lifegroup to get another perspective of the question and answer. In Hebrews 10:24, it says “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works….”. It’s easy to ‘stir up’ or encourage one another. That’s like putting someone on their back for what they’ve done. But what the writer of Hebrews states here is to ‘stir up one another to love and good works. That is the kind of encouragement that will cause people to actually do godly things. That goes beyond the superficial. That is deep. The kind of ‘deep’ that Jesus really wants us to get into.
